Product Description

   Rubber Aluminum Alloy Suspension Thimble Fitting B , Aluminum Keeper

 

A soft pliable dielectric material that gently grips the ADSS cable – supplied either with or without grit on the inner diameter bore. Gritted inserts are applied over optional Structural Reinforcing Rods for medium span applications.
The gritted inserts have a conductive aluminum strip

The Suspension Thimble Fitting B is the connecting hardware of ADSS cable which hanging in transmission line pole . It can reduce static stress at the support point, improve cable anti-vibration ability, and cushioned against the dynamic stress of Aeolian vibration. as well as  ensure that the cable bending will not exceed ensure that the cable bending will not exceed the permissible values, make the cable does not produce bending stress, so that the fiber optic don’t produce extra loss in the cables.it is generally used for 300M-400M span length ADSS installation, which clamp break strength is less than 30KN, gripstrength is less than 15% -20% RTS of the cable.

In order to avoid scratching, gouging or nicking of the plastic
jacket during installation, unbalanced loading, or cable motion, the ends of the Thimble B are factory formed to flare away from the cable surface
